A dashboard-driven crypto platform designed to bring clarity to complex, fragmented investment data, helping users better understand performance and navigate trading decisions with confidence.

Overview

Mspay is a crypto asset management platform designed to help retail investors track portfolios, monitor performance, and make informed trading decisions with clarity and confidence.

As crypto investments spread across multiple exchanges and wallets, users often faced fragmented data, inconsistent reporting, and limited visibility into their overall portfolio performance.

In this project, I led the end-to-end UX design process—shaping user flows, defining the dashboard system, and translating complex financial interactions into clear, intuitive experiences through high-fidelity design.

01. The Challenge

Business Problem

While researching the Indian market, I found that many users struggled to convert between cryptocurrencies due to complex exchange rates, fragmented payment options, and lengthy processes. These challenges often led to confusion and a lack of confidence, especially around identity verification and transaction security.

To address this, I designed Mspay, a simplified and secure crypto exchange experience. The platform guides users through a clear, step-by-step conversion flow while integrating local payment methods. Built-in security checks and real-time feedback help reinforce trust at every stage.

This project deepened my understanding of balancing usability and security, and reinforced the importance of designing for clarity and trust in high-risk financial environments.

Financial data was structured progressively, allowing users to access deeper layers only when needed.

High-risk actions, such as transfers and trades, were supported with clear confirmations and contextual warnings.

Key metrics were prioritized at the top level, while advanced data remained accessible but secondary.

The dashboard was simplified into modular sections with consistent visual patterns to improve readability.

Design Process

In shaping the user experience, I followed a structured, iterative design process to ensure each decision was intentional and grounded in real user needs. From early research and information architecture to wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes, I continuously refined the solution through testing and feedback.

I worked closely with product managers, engineers, and the security team to align usability, technical constraints, and risk considerations. Regular feedback loops and usability walkthroughs helped validate key decisions and improve the overall clarity and efficiency of the experience.

Branding

For the Mspay Platform, I focused on three core principles: security, speed, and trust—shaping a seamless experience for cryptocurrency transactions. The interface combines a clean, structured layout with a professional financial tone, helping users navigate complex conversions with greater clarity and confidence.

This approach resulted in a modern and reliable experience that simplifies complexity while reinforcing trust at every step of the journey.

The platform architecture was redesigned to separate five primary zones:

User flows were streamlined to ensure that core financial actions could be completed within three decision steps.

Despite its complexity, the platform is designed with a low learning curve in mind. Each interaction emphasizes clarity, accessibility, and user confidence, making high-risk actions feel more manageable. A consistent visual system reinforces trust and usability, balancing professional financial standards with an approachable experience.

This project reinforced the importance of structured thinking when designing for financial systems. In high-risk environments, clarity and error prevention matter far more than visual experimentation.
If taken further, I would incorporate real user testing to validate behavioral impact and measure improvements in long-term retention.
